What a remap does for a petrol Mercedes S-class

With a petrol engine the remap works through the ECU's ignition, fuelling and turbo boost tables. Re-calibrating them within safe limits releases power that is already there, rather than adding anything to the engine.

Mercedes S 350 245(+99) against other S-class engines

Among the 16 petrol S-class engines we have figures for, the S 350 245(+99) ranks 16th for power gain, 15 bhp below the S-class petrol average of 32 bhp.
